Who the fuck hires these people?

Apparently, while Dick Clark was slurring in the New Year, Kathy Griffin was ripping some cocksucking hecklers:

Comedienne Kathy Griffin may be doomed to life on CNN's S-list after answering a heckler with a shrieking, vulgar tirade during the network's live New Year's Eve broadcast.

"Screw you," she told the heckler. "Why don't you get a job, buddy? You know what? I don't go to your job and knock the d- - - out of your mouth."

Kathy has a history of speaking her mind in crude and hilarious fashion, and she really doesn't give a shit what people thing.

Good for her.

Here's my question: Who the fuck at CNN hired her for this job?

No. Really.

Don't they know who she is?

Don't they know her history? Of course they do:

But wishing viewers a Happy "Blue" Year seems to have been exactly why Griffin, star of the Bravo reality-TV show "My Life on the D-List," was tapped for the show for the second year running.

I'm surprised they had the idiocy to ask her back this year.

Don't they know that the crowd knows her history and will provoke this kind of response?

She was on a roll that night:

Cooper seemed to become increasingly uncomfortable with Griffin's off-color remarks, including her request to "get a pap smear from [CNN medical reporter] Dr. Sanjay Gupta," and her description of former CNN host Glenn Beck as a "heroin addict Mormon.

And they didn't pull the plug?

Apparently, they pulled the plug on their phones:

A spokeswoman for CNN did not return a call for comment.

Perhaps they should pull the plug on the idiot who greenlighted her?

annoying little twerp:

Betcha that if she'd refered to someone as a "heroin addicted MUSLIM" they'd have pulled her reeeeally fast.

...she *did* say she wanted to get Cooper fired by midnight.
