Job Openings

Mahmoud Zahar is looking for a new circle of thugs to surround himself with:

Also Wednesday overnight, the IAF attacked five armed Palestinians who turned out to be the personal bodyguards of senior Hamas official Mahmoud Al-Zahar. The five men were reportedly guarding Zahar's house in southern Gaza City and were all killed, according to reports.

Two questions:

  • Has Cynthia McKinney submitted a resume?
  • If Zahar was at his house, why was he not captured or killed?

Barak isn't falling for the joke that Hamas has a division between political and military wings, is he?

Two more:

Hamas's interior minister, Said Siam, was killed along with his brother Iad and another senior Hamas man in an IAF strike on a house in the Jabaliya neighborhood in Gaza, Israeli defense officials told The Jerusalem Post.

Siam was the Hamas political echelon's liaison with the group's military wing, and was responsible for the various security apparatuses in the Strip, including the police, and the naval force.

Salah Abu Shrakh, the head of the Hamas general security service, was also killed in the air strike.

I'm sure that Haniyeh is on the phone with Wesley Clark, asking for references.
