Drawing fire

Hamas continues to use the tactic of firing from within or near UN facilities to draw IDF fire:

Gunshots and an anti-tank missile were fired at IDF troops near the UN compound that was attacked by the IDF on Thursday, senior defense official told The Jerusalem Post.

Accordng to the officials, the IDF responded by firing artillery shells at the location of the gunmen and that the shells caused damage to the UN installations. At least three people were wounded and the building was set on fire.

Sure enough:

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, in Israel Thursday to promote a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, expressed "strong protest and outrage" at the reported shelling of the UN compound.

Nothing about, oh, those guys shooting from or near his facilities.

You know, the actual war crimes that are being conducted.

By Hamas.

Different Jerk-In-Chief of the UN, same bullshit.

Barak is actually remembering what "Defense Minister" does: to defend.

Hamas gunmen are using Palestinians as human shields, and are firing at IDF troops from the vicinity of UN facilities, Defense Minister Ehud Barak told UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Red Cross President President Jacob Kellenberger during a meeting in Tel Aviv on Thursday.

Forget the bogus calls for another cease-fire under conditions Hamas is in no position to demand, enforce, or even capable of honoring.

You'll know that Hamas is truly on the ropes when they start dressing as IDF soldiers and setting fires.
