Al Franken and his henchmen are trying to toss every single vote they can out of Coleman's pile to steal the Senate seat.
Including this one that Drudge has highlighted.
It's pretty damn obvious this person wants Norm Coleman to be their Senator.
You have to be rock-bottom stupid or rock-bottom evil to think otherwise.
No. Really.
Now, if the ballot had been marked this way:
Team Franken wouldn't have a problem with it. They'd be fighting tooth and nail for this ballot to count.
Some anti-Laurence Simon would be blogging about Team Coleman being rock-bottom evil for protesting it.
And you know what? This Laurence Simon would be, too.
Why? Because I call them as they are, no matter which side you're on.
So, it all boils down to this: You're an asshole, Al. You and every one of the ballot-stealing scum on your payroll.
You're a disgrace to the spirit of this country's elections.

And you honestly don't think Coleman's team is doing the same for their candidate? Perhaps a few examples that Drudge didn't think to post:

Seriously?!? they're going to decide the thing based on whether the guy who writes in The Lizard People for every other candidate gets his vote counted and on partisan hack underlings?
A hand recount is SUPPOSED to ensure that in a close race, as many people's votes are counted as possible. When both candidates lose votes in the recount, it says to me that both parties' henchmen have gone way off the rails.
It does make me sad that this can't be handled in a more grown up manner and that partisan snipers, bloggers, and obviously election attorneys insist on trying to make hay out of something so weak just because they miss the fight of the campaign.
I suspect that the actual candidates are not SO committed to winning as to be FOR all this game playing bullshit. At least I don't think Franken would be judging by his radio show. He used to be all about fairness even when it hurt democrats. Coleman, I don't know enough about to really have an opinion but I just assume give him the benefit of the doubt on this one too. It sure looks like Coleman won... just barely. And though it's not a bad thing to count as many votes as possible, this really seems to have devolved into madness.
