Voting

I think I'm going to go vote tomorrow.

And I'm voting for... Fred Thompson.

Obama's a real piece of work, accelerated into power and surrounded with the worst socialists and spin-doctors assembled in this country's history.

McCain's a floundering hack from a field of unpalatable candidates who I wrote off the moment he listened to anything that blubbering asshole Phil Gramm had to say.

The third-party candidates range from the deranged to the criminally retarded.

Is this the best our country can come up with? Is this what all of our society's efforts have produced in terms of choices for leadership?

Am I wasting my vote? No, when you consider that I think Fred Thompson would be the best man for the job.

Am I helping Obama or McCain win by taking a vote from them? No, because I wouldn't vote for either motherfucker for a million dollars or a gun to my head.

Yeah, there's other issues on the ballot. I'll vote my conscience on each of them... Joe Agris must be bored, now that he doesn't have his favorite carving block to slice up anymore.

But, God as my witness, I'm voting for Fred Thompson.

Meggeler:

Anti-constitutional move there - the constitution says when to vote. I assume you are voting for Fred 'cause he is best for the country. Yet you vote for a person not running and at a time that is unconstitutional, perhaps you should throw away your vote and allow Obama to finish our capitalist system.

I agree with you about Fred but it didn't work out that way. Looks like conservatives have to find another party.

Jenn:

That's nice, I'd like to vote for Duncan Hunter.

Thing is, there are only two cats in this cradle and one of them is a Marxist nutjob bent on world domination. And I'm not talking McCain.

So, he'll get my vote, this time.

webelder:

"choices for leadership?"

I've heard it said that people get the Government they deserve.
