Dear Television and Radio Stations,
Unless you're running for office yourselves, please point your cameras and microphones at the stage, sit down, and shut the fuck up.
We don't care what you have to say. We don't give a flying fuck what you have to say.
We don't care what you think. We don't care what you want us to think.
We only care what the people you're pointing your shit at have to say.
Come November, we will be deciding between them at the ballot box.
That is far, far more important than deciding with our channel changer between you and some other mealy-mouthed motherfucker on the screen.
So, please, sit down and shut the fuck up.
If you're good, we might even buy some of that shit from those commercials you keep airing, okay?
Thank you,

C-Span streams the conventions live online and has the main speeches in handy dandy podcast form. The DNC and RNC have RSS feeds set up too but so far I haven't gotten anything from the RNC, maybe they know I'm not really one of them? Anyway, C-Span rocks.
These other goofball channels... they're going the way of the local telegraph office. Fewer and fewer people are watching the tube as baby boomers die and their replacements are born. As usual, those of us in the demographically small generations in between, are so much media cannon fodder.
