In December, my peak was at 242.
Office moved.
Commute was cut by more than a half. Lots of extra time.
More sleep, too.
More walking from bus stop to work and bus stop to home.
Still, I get home earlier than before.
Sit-ups and pushups when I got home.
In February, my low was 219.
Then, the motorcycle hit me, and I couldn't do the exercises.
I also got sloppy with vending machine snack foods.
Well, and tunnel garbage. Damn General Joe's.
Back up to 230.
When I could finally bend my knee right again, exercises and diet returned.
Salads from Murphy's or Painini for lunch, or veggies with hummus or dip.
Back in habit of raw garlic nearly every day on a toast snack.
Currently 224.
And if I stick to this, I think I'm going to be at 200 before I know it.
Today's a cholesterol check day.
I'll find out Monday if I switch meds or go on a lower dose.
Or, if I need to stick with it, and in three months this new push pays off, which I think it will.

Dude, keep with it and best of luck to you.
I am a fat slob, my peak weight was 324, I lost down into the 260 range doing body for life (ie: not eating CRAP, drinking soda and actually exercising 6 days a week). I felt great, I was happier.
I stopped working out so ferociously and eating more normally. then I ate out at a Mexican restaurant and had to go to the ER from abdominal pains.
I had developed Gallstones. OUCH! THEY HURT!
Gallbladder came out, Doctor said six weeks, no working out. I lost momentum, lost the drive...
and gained weight.
I am now around 314 and miserable again. I hope to get back in the groove someday but like when I quit smoking, I just haven't found the thing to make me angry enough to push through the wall.
I will be cheering you on buddy. I know you can do it.
