Woke up. Felt a bit woozy.
Some coworker was coughing and grousing about feeling sick yesterday, but got told to come in anyway.
Did I catch something from this guy?
I pounded Vitamin C tablets, but when it came time to head out the door, I just fell back on the sofa as said to hell with it.
I've got a doctor appointment today anyway. It's supposed to just be a review of my cholesterol numbers, but might as well get my oil levels checked, too.
Unlike some people (and their supervisors), I firmly believe in avoiding spreading illness among coworkers when you've got sick time available.
But that's just me. I guess I hold others in a higher regard than some.

Sick time? What the hell is that?!

I agree with you, carelessly exposing others to germs is crude. Keep taking vitamin C and rest. Hope you feel better real soon.

Good policy. Wish one of my fellow managers had felt the same way. 3 weeks of headaches and a stiff neck followed by a week of sickness and 3 weeks of a stuffed up ear.
Course, the person who spread it ended up with pnemonia.
Try Zicam. That stuff really works when it comes to colds.
