Gotta love New York:
Friday's altercation on the Q train began when somebody yelled out "Merry Christmas," to which rider Walter Adler responded, "Happy Hanukkah," said Toba Hellerstein."Almost immediately, you see the look in this guy's face like I've called his mother something," Adler told CNN affiliate WABC.
Two women who were with a group of 10 rowdy people then began to verbally assault Adler's companions with anti-Semitic language, Hellerstein said.
One member of the group allegedly yelled, "Oh, Hanukkah. That's the day that the Jews killed Jesus," she said.
When Adler tried to intercede, a male member of the group punched him, she said.
Here's the shocker:
Another passenger, Hassan Askari -- a Muslim student from Bangladesh -- came to Adler's aid, and the group began physically and verbally assaulting him, Hellerstein said.
Cool.
By the way, fun responses to "The Jews killed Jesus" accusations:
- "Yeah, Harvey Fierstein fucked him up the ass and gave him AIDS."
- "If we killed Jesus, killing you and your family will be a piece of cake."
- "Hey, the guy came back from the dead three days later. Fucking drama queen!"
- "It was me. I have a time machine. And on the way back, I fucked your grandmother, too."
- "Shouldn't you be working on Lethal Weapon 5, asshole?"
- Shoot 'em.
What are your favorite blood-libel comebacks?
The driver refused to call for help.
And people wonder why I despise people in the public transportation racket from top to bottom.

"Yeah, we killed him. I found a note in the basement. 'I killed Jesus.' - signed, Morty."
"The Jews did not kill Jesus at Chanukah, ya dumbass. We killed him at Easter."

Yeah, it's not like the day of Jesus' death is an obscure piece of trivia.

I think it's all the inbreeding.
Of course the main point of Christianity is Christ had to die for God's plan to happen, but some "Christians" seem to miss that.

"I think it's all the inbreeding."
When I hear about punks like this, I wonder if their parents died in 9/11 and if they would have been raised any better with those folks around.

Sorry Laurence, but having grown up in the cultural hotbed of racism I can tell you in complete confidence nothing would change them.
I was going to say being forced to be around other people who have different idea than you do, but that only works in Disney movies.
Racist, bigoted trash is racist bigoted trash. People like this make me ashamed of my heritage.
