I was going to blow about Saeb Erekat's psychotic outburst over refusing to ever recognize Israel as a Jewish state because no other nation on the planet links its national identity with a religious identity, but Camera.org did such a fine job of it.
And despite the fact that the so-called Palestinian "Constitution" isn't worth the toilet paper Arafat wiped himself after having himself a good time in Bagdad, Camera points out the glaring hypocrisy:
The Palestinian Basic Law, which acts as a provisional constitution, asserts that "Islam is the official religion in Palestine," and that "The principles of Islamic Shari'a shall be the main source of legislation."The more recent Palestinian draft constitution similarly notes that Islam will be the official religion of any future Palestinian state.
The fact that Condi Rice is taking lying shitbags like this seriously and allowing them to blight Annapolis with their presence is beyond galling.
Why the Vatican's prelate-in-residence Michel Sabbeh puts on dresses and plays at being Catholic, I dunno, but I'm sure that when Bethlehem is ethnically cleaned of Christians, he'll be kept around as an amusing tourist attraction.

WE MADE SADDAM THE MONSTER HE WAS BEFORE WE TOPPLED HIM!" trying to prop up reality-denying, arms-smuggling monsters like Erekat, Queri, and Abbas who hire on huge numbers of trained killers to their payrolls and then let them loose from their dayjob obligations to launch rockets over the fences?
Tempting to look at the Arafat Anniversary massacres and think "That's just less bullets for them to fire at Jews" but it would be better if there were no bullets, explosives, or weapons in Gaza at all.
You know. Gun control. Like what the WE MADE SADDAM lefty crowd wants for America. Think that'll work over there, too?

I think we need to nuke the whole area. Israel, Gaza, Lebanon et al. Anything that is worth fighting over.
Give the lot of them 30 days to get their shit together and work out a viable peace or get out. If they don't do either we nuke and with malice. Real dirty like so that everything from Pakistan to Poland is completely uninhabitable for 1000 years.
I used to think that the world needed both an Israel and a Palestine; I was wrong. They both need to go.
Together they're a cancer infecting the whole world, they need to be excised. They clearly aren't going into remission.

I wouldn't want a single PERSON nuked. Just the region. People would be given ample time to leave if the proverbial sword of Damocles didn't effect an inspired round of real productive negotiation.
At this point there's so much bad blood that both sides have a legitimate beef and a legitimate reason to not trust the other. So okay, what can we do, keep fighting indefinitely? That's absurd.
It's time to move on. Destroy the whole region so it's wrecked for the Jews, Muslims and Christians. Nobody wins and nobody can rub the other guy's nose in it. We put the Palestinians in our 'red states' here so the islamic and christian fundamentalists can see that affording the other guy their space is in their own best interests and we move the israelis into our rust belt states because nobody turns around a desolate wasteland like the jews... except the gays but there aren't enough of them to go 'round. If only they recruited... *sigh*
I am serious though about the futility of carrying on. If it will never be solved peacefully and it's a stalemate as far as the use of brute force; why not look at alternatives?
