Lousy starter, good backup?

Was David Carr's off-the-bench victory a fluke?

His only score last week as a starter was a "It's late, we all want to go home, just take a knee and stop bothering the defense, Dave" score with 23 seconds to go.

Now he's up against the NFC's punching bags, the New Orleans Saints.

With a Points-For-Points-Against ratio that rivals the French Military for lopsided losses, Carr can't fail, right?

We'll see.

Okay, maybe we'll not.

I'll probably be petting cats, vacuuming, or goofing off online.

John:

Well, speaking as a Carolina fan, I can can predict a few things with confidence: 1-Reggie Bush runs wild. 2-Drew Brees victimizes the meagre Carolina secondary. 3-A hurt Steve Smith catches 4 for 65 and no TD. 4-David Carr, behind a burly offensive line for the first time in his career, takes a sack but throws one TD. 5-Carolina drops by a score of 24-10. 5-StrangeRanger thanks god that he likes climbing, fencing, and cycling, not football.....

John:

I stand corrected. Woot! didn't see this one coming...
