I've been thinking about the podcasts that have podfaded that I'd love to see come back.
- Let's face it - IMAO took a mortal wound when Scott left, FrankJ and SarahK got busy, and the excitement cooled off. There was some chatter about shorter, individual segments, but in the end it's been silent.
- King Bonk was a mix of quiet, creepy background music and a hypnotizing delivery of strange tales and thoughts. I really miss it.
- Aussie Dave has been blogging, but I miss his observations on daily life as well as his take on the headlines. Israelisms keeps churning along... oh boy... another point made by Carol countered with a snap remark by Charley... (yawn).
- The View From Here - What would you give for just one more Oh, Harry!
I'm sure there's more, but I think my mind has forgotten their presence. So easily we forget the ones we mourn so strongly.
What podcasts do you miss that you wish would come back from poddeath?

Cut and Paste radio. Audio Collage of the highest order. Made Scan dot Org and Black Tie Martini Club seem Amatureish by comparison.
And, although this is a professionally done podcast, Ricky Gervais.

Personally, I would like to have another season of the Ricky Gervais Show. Always entertaining, even though you had to pay for the last two seasons. He still does the occasional video podcast, but those are mostly just promos to plug his tour, Karl's book, or Extras.

I think Israelisms is quite interesting, and find your dismissal of their content to be short sighted and incorrect. I always enjoy their take on society and each other.
I liked the New Poo Revue.

I took a one month break from Israelisms and came back to it for some of the observations about the Israeli Baseball League.
When Charley's interested in a topic, you get a lively discussion with the two of them involved in it.
But more often than not, he's got a quick retort with not much follow-up on it. It's funny, sure, but after a while I get tired of it.
When I find myself tuning out and concentrating on work or checking seeqpod.com while a podcast is playing, I know I'm losing interest.
I'm still going to listen for Carol's thoughts, and I'm not looking forward to the day when Ray does something that sets off Charley. It's inevitable.

That horribly offensive thing that Jim K used to do. Loved it. Was appalled by it.

I too miss the IMAO podcast. I've recently gone back and started to listen to the old episodes. Good stuff.

Yeah, it's a shame the IMAO thing didn't work out.
