Gene Upshaw is urging the Houston Texans to "adopt" Kevin Everett as an unofficial teammate:
Upshaw said his priorities now will include getting in touch with the Houston Texans players and making sure they know that "they have to become [Everett's] teammates" as treatment continues.
It should be perfectly natural for the Texans to adopt Everett.
After all, they got used to David Carr being flat on his back all the time, right?
