I used to own a Swiss Army Knife on my keychain. Great for cleaning my nails. It's the reason why I don't bit them anymore.
Well, I need a new one. The original was confiscated by the TSA in O'Hare.
Never mind that I had it when I went through security at Bush/IAH.
On the other hand, Bush/IAH provides plenty seats right outside Security for putting your shoes on. O'Hare makes you walk across a busy corridor to get to a small number of seats.
All this inconsistency is meant to throw the bad guys off, right?

You got a color preference? I must have 7 or 8 of them floating around my desk and house. These are the good ones too, Victorinox.

Don't you know the secret of O'Hare airport? There's something in the air at that airport that makes people who work there really, really paranoid. Must be all the junkyards in the area. If you have a choice, choose an airline that will take you through Midway, like Southwest Airlines. And if you walk outside the main concourse and turn to the left, you can walk along the memorial walkway to the Challenger astronauts.

Actually yes. If you change the security pattern randomly some one that is observing won't know what to expect from day to day. It's what they do at the Air Force base next to where I work.

Well if you're curious, they all wind up on eBay after a while.
