I love playing Scrabble.
I rarely get to play it anymore, though. I don't go out much, not a lot of people visit, and the Mrs. is afraid to play me because of a few tales of completely devastating opponents.
So, I play it online with Facebook now.
Right now, I've got a game going where after 8 turns, it's 315 to 139.
It's good to know that after all this time, I apparently haven't lost the magic.
Are these games visible to the public for kibbutzing, or will I just have to take snapshots and such to document my progress?
One part of me fears a challenge by Andy Solberg, the only man I could never defeat in Scrabble, and another part relishes the opportunity to tilt at that iron windmill of Scrabble mastery one more time.
Oh well. At least I can play multiple games at once. Sort of like one of those wild-haired Chess masters, going from table to table.
Cool.

There's a Scrabble club right here in Jerusalem, and there's someone in it whom I'd love for you to meet. I think he'd be an excellent Scrabble partner for you. I'd introduce you -- and then get out of the way.

So you've issued a twitchallenge, huh? I'm sure you could easily decimate me. Just played my first Facebook game, and I did hit 300 -- total. Give me a chance to rest my brain tonight, and we'll name a time for this match. Susan Reynolds wants us to live-tweet, live-blog it somehow so people can join vicariously. I'm probably crazy enough to do it. :)
