National Day Of Prayer

Apparently, this is The National Day Of Prayer.

What are you praying for?

I'm praying that when I go to the barbershop that I get a decent haircut.

It's not that I have very low expectations of The Creator. It's just that he's a very busy guy and he's got a lot of more important things to deal with.

I figure He can farm this one out to The Muses to inspire the barber to give me His Best Cut Ever.

But a decent one will do in a pinch.

A day without a tech crisis so I can get caught up on paperwork.

annoying little twerp:

That I get my lazy @@@ off the computer and actually get some cleaning for our move done.

That several people I care about -- and at least one cat I care about -- should get well soon.

Hm. I think I'll go for the big one: Peace and prosperity. But only for countries I like. Fuck the rest of 'em.

plum:

'Teacup,' of the 'Bad Kitty Cats' blog is in hospital with gangrene and needs all our prayers. So that's who I have been especially thinking of today.

annoying little twerp:

lol Meryl.

David M. Hartzell:

That the 31 kittens born to six mama kitties are all adopted out by Cat Junction before the entire organizations goes INSANE!! Great springtime litter surge, hard work for us. That total does not include the four we've been given that were found without their momma around.

Robert:

I am praying for Olmert to resign and Pertz to resign! :)

Kate:

The Red Sox don't blow the lead in the AL East.

speedwell:

For religious people to leave me the hell alone. Since there is no God, my prayer was not answered.

Donations. Even token donations so it looks like I'm making progress towards a new iMac.

And that the clods at Typepad/Typekey learn proper markup and PHP.
