It may rain in Miami during the Super Bowl.
It rains a lot in Miami, apparently.
Here comes my rusty rant...
The people of Miami were too cheap to build a roof over their team's stadium.
Why were they rewarded with a Super Bowl if they couldn't guarantee climate control inside the facility?

Had they built a roof over it when it was built it would by now have been replaced by a (stadium sized) blue tarp, to show unrepaired damage caused by hurricanes and other storms.

The people of Miami didn't pay for the stadium.,, it was paid for by former Dolphins owner Joe Robbie out of his own pocket.

WhAT!
You mean the OWNER of a TEAM payed for it...
The city didn't????
What a concept. Of course it would never work in Dallas... I mean Irving... I mean Arlington.

Silly me, I always thought that football is an OUTDOOR sport and the weather shoul be a factor in playing the game. Hell is was bad enough that they had artifical turf.

Yeah, I give a big thumbs up to football in the rain.
We'd never had a Super Bowl played in this kind of element before. In fact, I think the closest we'd had to this in a championship games was before the Super Bowl was even played (Ice Bowl between Green Bay and Dallas).

Hmmm
Maybe they should wear water-proofs - additional advertisement potential at least

Is there anything Arlington WON'T pay for?
Oh that's right, a mass transportation system.
