Okay, it's time for me to give up the pride and shamelessly beg.
The 100 Word Stories has no ratings or reviews at Yahoo Podcasting. There are no ratings at Podcast Pickle. And the last time someone wrote a comment for Podcast Alley, Oliver freaking Willis was doing a show.
I don't care if it's a good review or bad review. One star, five stars, an assload of stars... does it really matter? The big podcasts will squeeze out the little podcasts, and from the looks of the stats, my biggest audience is from freaking China.
Imagine... over one billion Chinese learning about American English from me and my minions composing 100 word stories.
Just to provide additional incentive...
This cat doesn't get a treat when I get home if you don't review or rate.
UPDATE:
I'm going to work on my own promo sometime this week, and I'm looking forward to more promos from other podcasters to include at the tail-end of the 100 word stories.

Are you happy now? :)

What Leah said. And since I put an extra neat twist into your review, you can give your kitties two treats instead of one.

I would, but...
a) I haven't got sound on this computer, so can't hear them, and
b) I can't remember my Yahoo ID password (nor the details I put in when I signed up), and I've got so many unusable Yahoo IDs now, that I really can't get ANOTHER one!
Sorry,
Please give Nardo a treat anyway. :-) And Frisky. And Piper.

cath, can you actually read my review on the site? Cause I posted it over an hour ago, but I still don't see it there. :( Lair, I really did review it. Thought I was first, even.

Leah - I'm afraid I can't see it, no.
Perhaps that's what the problem is, Mr. Simon / Laurence?

Dear Mr. Simon,
Re. your above post- just thought I'd tell you that your 1 Chinese visitor is,in fact, me. I feel you should be aware of the following:
1. I'm not Chinese (I'm a New Zealander, currently resident in a city called Dongying, in Shandong Province, mainland China).
2. I am, in fact, an English teacher at a university here. I'd be teaching my students English now, but it's the May Day holiday here and most of thenm have gone home. Plus, I'd be teaching them New Zealand English, not American. (You've got a wee cracker of a site there mate, so long as your server doesn't kark it and leave you up the boohai).
OK, you've twisted my arm, I'll go over sometime today and listen to a podcast or two and rate them for you- just no more whingeing, eh? ;-)
Give your moggies some tucker and a scratch from me,
Cheers,
David White

For God's sake, feed the cat! I listened to Alarming Behavior and reviewed and rated it as well. (I was somewhat surprised by the lack of a Texas/southern accent. You sound like you could be from here in flyover country.)
Now please, feed the cat.
