Some scientist at Colorado State University is saying that October will be a busy month, hurricane-wise.
I guess I better keep my login and bookmark for Stormwatchers handy, just in case.
As for all that bottled water I wasted a lot of money on, well, I'm doing my best to keep a supply of it unmolested.

ARRRGGG! On the 9th, I leave from Ft. Lauderdale for a 7-day cruise in the Caribbean. It's my first major vacation, and my in-laws assured me that October was a great month, and they had never had any problems before...I should have known that since I was going on vacation, hurricanes would start popping up.
So yeah, blame me for the hurricanes. Trouble follows me wherever I go!
I knew trying to go on a vacation with the in-laws was going to turn into a mess, but I thought it would just have to do with throwing my mother-in-law overboard after 6 days of being in the same place with her. Dealing with potential hurricanes was not in my travel plans.
