More stupidity from Zogby

(Via Right Side of the Rainbow)

John Zogby, the influential idiot who predicted Kerry winning by 100 electoral votes and then defended his methodology as correct (despite being horribly wrong), continues to weave his fryed tapestries for everyone to wipe their asses with:

U.S. President George W. Bush's public approval rating remained in negative territory after a nationally televised address on Iraq, a new poll has found.

The poll by Utica, New York-based Zogby International reported that 43 percent of those surveyed approved of Bush's job performance and 56 percent disapproved. The poll of 905 people was taken June 27-29 and had a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points.

Those findings were almost identical to an earlier Zogby poll taken June 20-22. That survey found 44 percent approved of Bush's performance as president and 56 percent disapproved. The change between the two polls was statistically insignificant.

John Zogby, the president of the polling firm, said the results indicated that Bush's June 28 speech failed to allay the public's fears about the conflict in Iraq and didn't improve his standing.

Rightside sys: "Pray tell, you duplicitous jackass, how does a poll conducted from June 27-29 account for the impact of a speech that ended at 9:30 p.m. EST on June 28?"

The truth is closer to what Gallup is reporting, via CQ:

In fact, it showed Bush picking up ten points on whether we are winning in Iraq (up to 54%), twelve points on keeping troops in Iraq until the situation improves as opposed to setting an exit date for their evacuation (now at 70%/25%), and seven points on whether Bush has a clear plan for handling the war in Iraq (up to 63%/35%).

I predict that Zogby is an asshole: 100%, plus or minus zero.

Karl Rove needs to set the attack dogs on Zogby and investigate his finances, just to find how and where Soros' checks are being cashed.

Utica, NY based Zogby? That explains everything.
I lived in f---ing Utica for almost 2 years while going to college. If NY gets an enema, it goes in not at New Jersey as suspected but at Utica.
It's full of people who hate life and want you to hate life too. It also has fewer sunny days than Seattle. It snows every fricking day from mid-to-early-November until sometime in March. Lake-effect-snow are three words I hope never to see strung together again.
I can never call it just "Utica". In my mind it's always "F---ing Utica", out loud I soften it to "Lovely Utica" but my family and friends know what I mean.
Cuomo and the rest of the corrupt NY pols drove taxes so high that most businesses left upstate and Lovely Utica was right there. The factories shut down, even Oneida Silver gets a fairly large percentage of their silverware made in China. Saranac Lake beer and a wire factory are about the only factories left in the Lovely Utica/Rome Metropolitan area.
They have an insane asylum for the whole state where they allow people out on probation to live in Lovely Utica and they also have a high instance of lead pipes in their old, decaying infrastructure.
There is also exactly one book-store in the entire city and it's a Christian book store. There are two local malls and only one has a book-store. I don't know what has happened to the one at the other mall, but I wouldn't be surprised if it closed as well.
They did have a millionaire mayor who was trying to make it a better place. I don't know how he's doing.
Remember the Woodstock that ended in riots? That was at the AF base in near-by Rome, NY.
I really hate that city. Can you tell?

They do have two great Lebanese restaurants and a thriving Bosnian community who were relocated in the late 90s.

Normally I'd accuse James and John Zogby of having a dual loyalty, but they have no loyalty to the US. Their methodologies demonstrate how their greasy hummus-stained thumbs press down on the balance pans.

NF:

I remember how a while back Zogby was liked by the right because he predicted things favorable to the republicans that panned out.

Not terribly fond of pollsters myself.

EddieNHNYS:

Zogby? HUCK PATOOIE! - This "pollster" is one opinionated SOB - During the last local assemblyman elections, he said (of the incumbant Townsend) "nobody can beat Townsend" source Utica OD (Gannett Newspaper) next example source "The Day That John Died" author Chritopher Andersen, AVON Books, publisher Harper Collins page 329, referring to the Michael Kennedy case, "he (John Jr.) cheapened his image, it was a stupid thing to do" - anything that comes from a Zogby poll is totally IGNORED in this household. Attitude reflects management. Tell me he and his staff isn't biased. Yeah OK ..
