I heard it through the grapevine

I hate it when a nice new site has squeaky-clean BlogAd bars. It just makes you forget your own abject poverty for a moment and want to reach out and hug them, tell them it's going to get better.

Knavery and flattery are blood relations. -Abraham Lincoln

I think I'll toss two Honest Abes at Conservative Grapevine while the going's cheap so Hawk can have a burger, fries, and something off of the wine list.

I wonder if there's a liberal grapevine.

Nah. Just sour grapes and a few catepillars that act as velcro to stupid.

NF:

Speaking of blog-ad bars, yours are partially blocked in IE 6 on WinXP on my laptop.

rorschach:

same problem on my pitifully underpowered win98SE surfing laptop running firefox at 800x600 resolution.... the pictures of the kitties run into the blogads. this wasn't happening last time I was here, have you been playing with the stylesheet?

Deskmerc has a problem with his blog too. occasionally a line or two of text "hides" and you have to highlight it to see the missing lines of text.

When I post a wide picture or the Ask The Cats, it forces the center column to bleed over the right column.

The right column is ads and links. are you really going to miss them?

rorschach:

no but you can't read the remarks from the kitties because the right column bleeds into the text... Who cares what YOU have to say, I want to read what Nardo thinks...... =D
